Recipe of the week

Potato and Cheese Chowder

2 cups potatoes
1/2 cup celery
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups velveeta cheese

Boil everything but the cheese till soft but dont drain. Then make a white sauce : 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup flour, 2 cups milk. Mix together and cook till smooth then add the cheese and stir till it melts. Add 1 cup chopped ham and the rest of the veggies. Enjoy!

mmm I love ANYTHING cheesy and potato-y. Although im an onion hater, I'd omit that ingredient. Have you ever been to New York? Oh and the catnip tea was kind of gross, too... uh... grassy for me. I like fruity tea. But apparently Catnip is actually good for us!
