Lisa

My sister Lisa and her friend Jen came to visit me and Trish for the weekend and we had lots of fun! I just wish we could have had more time. It always goes by to quick. We celebrated her birthday which was at the end of February. I made a Winnie the pooh cake since that was the only cake mold I had. I thought it turned out cute and I think she liked it. She is a great sister and I am lucky to have her in my life! Thanks for coming to see me:)

Recipe blog

Thanks for everyones opinions on the recipe blog. I have decided to do both! I want to still share my recipes on my blog in case there are some that just read that one only. I will have my recipe blog open to all of you who would like to share a recipe. I think it will be fun but might take me a week or so to set it all up so stay tuned to my blog to find out more details...

Any Ideas?

I was thinking it might be fun to do a recipe blog since i have alot I like to post. Then I thought maybe it would be better to just keep them on my original blog. Would people really look at 2 blogs? What do you think? I could use some ideas...

Ducks!

So behind my house I have a canal that has a ton of ducks swimming in it. They are so funny to watch and I love to feed them. They will even do tricks like dogs for bread! You can get them to jump for bread but i haven't gotten them to roll over for it yet:) Even after you are done feeding them they will stay around vacuming up every crumb. I wonder how they would do in the house cleaning my kitchen floor.....

Chocolate Bundt Cake

Chocolate Bundt Cake

1 Chocolate Cake mix
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients except Chocolate Chips, mix well. Add chocolate chips. Bake in greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pan. Dust with powdered sugar!

Grandpa Braegger

This is one of my favorite people,my grandpa Braegger. He is no longer living but today is his birthday and I have been thinking of him alot lately. He was one of the sweetest men ever!He was always found doing something for someone and never asking for anything in return. He was also hardworking and had an amazing garden both flowers and vegetables. He was always so kind to the grandkids and we loved to visit because that meant we were in for a swig of pepsi and a cookie:)The pictures I put on here some him up hardworking, always had time to play, and came to see us in Oregon even though he didn't like to leave home. I have so many good memories of him and could probably go on for a few pages but I wont for the sake of you who are reading. I just wanted you to know a little bit about one of the sweetest men I have ever known.

Waverly Park

This park isn't to far from my house and it was such a nice day that I decided to go walk around there. I think as soon as spring is here and the trees have leaves it will be so gorgeous. There are so many ducks there to feed its fun to watch them attack the bread.
